This month-long showcase has been coordinated by the County of Riverside Economic Development Agency, several cities, University of California, Riverside, Riverside Community College District, and related organizations to bring awareness to the many areas where advances in technology, innovation and entrepreneurship are happening every day in Riverside County.

Does your business have an innovative way of delivering your product or service? Do you have an idea for a new, novel product? We want to hear from you! Entrepreneurs from across Coachella Valley are encouraged to submit their business ideas to the Coachella Valley Fast Pitch Competition. A select number of applicants will be invited to pitch at our April 13th event in front of a panel of judges. These applicants will have the opportunity to meet with a business coach prior to the competition to receive training and feedback. Two winners will be selected on April 13th and will advance to the countywide Fast Pitch Finale in Riverside on April 26th as part of Riverside County Innovation Month.

The Riverside County Economic Development Agency and the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Corona Division are entering into this agreement in recognition of the vital role that collaboration and cooperation play in support of the small businesses throughout Riverside County and the United States to make use of technology related assistance available within Federal labs such as NSWC Corona.
The purpose of the Agreement is to:
- Enable Riverside County EDA to serve as a liaison to NSWC Corona for the purpose of supporting small business firms.
- Aid in performing services that increase the likelihood of success in the conduct of cooperative and joint activities of NSWC Corona, a Federal laboratory, with small business firms, and institutions of higher education.
